In doing so, they meet survivors of the disaster, including the mastermind of a dangerous conspiracy. Hot on his heels is the woman who once outwitted Holmes: Irene Adler, the woman in the great detective's life. A fierce battle erupts once again between Holmes and Irene Adler.
