In the first part of our 5th episode Safi from Afghanistan shares his story and his experiences from his journey with us. Further, we discuss the question how a so called "normal life" looks like or rather how it doesn't look like. This episode was created in cooperation with our long term supporter SOS Balkanroute. We thank Pero and Safi for this interview! The World Travelers Community in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina supports people on the move, refugees, and asylum seekers in their long-term integration process with different services and the possibility of employment opportunities. Components of this program are legal support, language courses in Bosnian and English, psychological support, assistance in finding and affording accommodation in shared houses, and job search assistance. The podcast is one way to support this transformative project and advocate the silenced stories of our participants. Please keep in mind that we are a completely non-commercial and social podcast project. Based solely on the work of volunteers, therefore our quality of production cannot always compete with those who can pay salaries to professional producers.
