Bibi, Tina, and Alex are visiting Szendrö Manor in Hungary. They're asked to go with Mikosh to bring four Nonius horses to a buyer across the great Puszta. They're joined by Ranuka, a headstrong little foal. So begins a great adventure into the wilds of Hungary, during which the friends even come across a family of bears.
