Today, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jon Clemence, a talented editor and writer who runs his own editing and writing agency. Jon’s dedication to helping businesses communicate effectively is truly inspiring. Jon’s journey into editing and writing started long before it became his profession. “I’ve always loved writing, reading, and editing,” he told me. His passion for literature continued through college and seminary, where he enjoyed editing classmates’ papers just for fun. However, it wasn’t until the COVID-19 pandemic that Jon considered editing as a career. After losing his job, he reflected on his true interests: “I realized that editing and proofreading could be more than just a hobby. I wondered, could I make a living from this? And it turns out, I could!” Jon turned a setback into an opportunity, building a thriving business that helps clients enhance their content to attract and convert website visitors into loyal clients.
